TO REMOVE:
Remove roof weatherseal, "A" & "B" trim caps & rear roof
moldings. Refer to pages 7, 12 & 13.
Locate three 1/8" rivets that attach filler cap to
frame assembly and 1/4 window. Note: On GT models there
will be two rivets attaching filler cap to frame assembly.
Carefully pry filler up using small screw driver.
Slip filler cap out of fram assembly by pulling it
outward with a pair of pliers.
TO INSTALL:
Apply liquid butyl sealant to all mating surafces of the filler
cap & upper "B" pillar. Note: Do not fill the
rear drain through.
Slip the filler cap in between the fram assembly and upper "B"
pillar aligning & clamping into position with a pair of vise
grips.
Drill three holes in standard vehicles & two holes on GT models
through frame assembly & filler cap. Standard model the third
hole will go thru the top flange of the 1/4 window & into the
filler cap. Note: If original cap is to be used, align
the original holes with a scratch awl.
Fasten cap with 1/8" sealed rivets.
Reinstall rear roof molding & weatherseals & "A" & "B" pillar
trim caps. Refer to pages 8, 12 & 13.
